The Doyle and Recreation Advisory Board is responsible for guiding policy of the Doyle Community Center and advising on issues related to the City Recreation Department.

The polling place for all City of Sturgis residents is the Sturges-Young Center for the Arts at 201 N. Nottawa St. (Township residents will vote at their Township Hall.) Polls will be open from 7am to 8pm. This is also where you should deliver your completed absentee ballot on Election Day if you have not done so already. You can check to see if you are registered to vote or review a sample ballot at www.michigan.gov/vote.

Local Film Premiere & musical performance – More than just a film premiere, Journey of the 11th is a celebration of our veterans from the past and present! Join the Sturgis Historical Society as they present the next film in the Windows to Our Past series: Journey of the 11th! The Sturgis Wind Symphony will also be presenting select musical pieces throughout the evening as we honor all of our veterans on Veteran’s Day! Veterans are entitled to a free ticket to the evening’s presentation, available in person at the Sturges-Young Center for the Arts. The City Commission Organizational meeting is held the second Monday of November each year at City Hall, 130 N. Nottawa St.
