Work. Edward Jones brought me here. I relocated my office from Hamilton to Sturgis. (My wife) Jessica grew up in Three Rivers, and we have a lot of family in St. Joe County. That was a big factor in choosing to relocate here. What are your thoughts on the city?
I love it! The community and residents here welcomed me with open arms, and I am sincerely grateful for that. The pride-in-ownership feeling the people have for Sturgis is amazing. The city is filled with good-hearted people that want to make a positive difference. What excites you most about Sturgis?
Being part of something bigger. Even in the year that I have been here, I have witnessed many positive changes. I am happy to serve clients in a community that cares about each other. How have you become involved in the community so far and how do you hope to become further involved?
I want to give back in as many ways as I can. To do so, I wanted to educate myself of what the primary needs are in Sturgis. That being said, I joined the Chamber, Exchange, Elks Lodge and the High School Business Partnership Program. I just recently started working with Stoney Summey on the Veterans Board, and was very excited to join. I plan to further involve myself by being the best financial advisor I can be, and participate in the many great community events. I look forward to the future. Please share details about your experience in the Air Force.
I joined the Air Force in 2003 as an F-15 crew chief. I transitioned to working the A-10 in 2006, and have been crewing them ever since. I still serve today as a Master Sergeant in the Michigan Air National Guard from the 127th Wing at Selfridge. Stateside, I have been stationed in Idaho, Nevada, Texas, Florida and now back home in Michigan. I am fortunate enough to have served the country on five combat tours overseas. Those five tours took me to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Kuwait. I look forward to continuing to serve our great state and country.
